I am so glad I met Mike about 5 years ago at a business where I volunteer. I had a growing list of things to get done but didn't know anyone who could take care of them.

I had a wooden side table that my Dad and given my Mom as a present. Over the years, the table developed a crack and a piece of the inlay design had come loose. I wanted it fixed as it had a special meaning for me. The table was always present in the homes we lived in and I wanted to have it repaired and kept in the family. Mike repaired the crack in the tabletop and reinserted the inlay chip and refinished the table. Now the table is a cherished piece of furniture in my home.

He has worked on several other projects for me including converting a built-in entertainment center back into a useable closet, painting my kitchen, and repairing my dining room chairs.

Finding a competent construction contractor is a difficult task.
We have experience.
Over the last 45 years we have renovated houses, contracted for the demolition of a house and construction of a new house in the city, supervised the completion of a subdivision home and hired and supervised countless home maintenance contractors, decorators and tradesmen.
We chose Stable Homes to undertake substantial renovations.
Stable Homes renovated two cottages included: structural changes, kitchen and 2 bathroom renovations, drywall, flooring, paint, decking and rails, custom shelving, trim, backsplash, wainscoting, and related work that required coordination with and supervision of building permit applications and inspections, kitchen cabinet and tile installers, electrician, plumber, asbestos inspector, the building department and glass shower door installer.
